EVERY game now is must have,.. and National TV vs. another MVP winner is a circled game,*that you bring out your best...

this was no regular game.. MIAMI are the Champs... and Vegas had the LAKERS meeting them in the Finals... this game was huge.

Your Laker mind is making excuses... but everybody played.. so i am afraid, you are dead out of excuses and stories.

        KOBE done, LAKERS done.

i would like to congratulate you on your success vs. Vyomguy, as well for your very popular thread accurately predicting LAKER dominance in the West.

        Well done.*

Ratzz you are right on the $$. This mess they put together will not work. Kobe getting old, too much drama and no cohesiveness with this squad at all. Add to the mix a coach who does not believe in defense and troubles are imminent!

EXACTLY RP, zero cohesiveness, NOT a team... you can tell because when anybody is out, they just lose, and then use the excuse..

look at the Clippers.. CP3 was out for two games against winning records.. (both road games, AND B2B!)
and they were like "so what? let's win these two" and they did.. in fact they killed both Memphis and Houston..*very impressive..

i can't believe Kobe just keeps on shooting until he gets hot, a lot os times, it just takes too long, man..

at the end of the 3rd Qtr.. he played his classic 1-on-5 dribble around them all. when 4 guys are stading around wide open.. takes a terrible shot and ends the Qtr, on a bad note.

NO WAY Howard stays for another 2 yrs of this.

Discussions comparing LAL to teams like Miami are just plain ridiculous. They are not on the same level, period.

The discussions now should be regarding Lakers' schedule and how far off a shot they have to get into the playoffs. And the next discussion will be that if they work their ass off and actually reach the playoffs, it'll be a sad story when they meet OKC or LAC first round

LA in the playoffs? Let me corral my inner Mora.... PLAYOFFS?? Unless this team finds a way to make it work right away and put some good runs and win streaks together there will be no playoffs. This team has struggled mightily on the road the past couple years and now struggle to beat teams at home even. Maybe if they close out the season with phoenix, charlotte , cavs every night they will get in lol.

they might as well play like it's a finals game, because we all know damn well this won't be a finals matchup this year.

More ignorance.....Why do u show UP like a troll when kobe has a bad shooting night?? Where were the threads @ when Kobe's fg % "plummeted" after going 12-19 & 9-14 two previous games

Shooting over 47% & which is currently better than 27 of the other 29 starting shooting guards in the league
Must be nice to have "nothing left" yet still lead the league in scoring while shooting nearly 48%. What does the rest of the league have if that is nothing
Even when you attempt to troll you fail & sound as ignorant as ever.

I don't make anything out of regular season. That's how I drove shoebox out of business in 2010 when he guaranteed me the Orlando Magic who were -450 favs to the celtics would win the ECF matchup, and I told him Celtics are winning and meeting LA in the NBA finals. Now he's gone.

Then in 2011 I guaranteed Miami would win the East while every said the Chicago bulls because "they have the best record in the NBA." And I guaranteed Miami would win it all in 2012 despite them not having the best record. A 7 game series is a different animal.

Miami is the best team in the NBA and has been from the start of the year and I picked them to meet the Lakers in the finals this year. Everyone just keeps saying "oh Dwayne Wade is washed up." Okay, just wait until the playoffs. It's pretty obvious that Wade on cruise control because once again, the regular season doesn't mean shit. Chasing around D Wade and Lebron for 7 games is not an easy task. When you're a Luol Deng, you lose the lift in your legs, and it's tough to hit shots in the 4th quarter and in the latter stages of the series.

Well u were right in all those situations, but why not bring up the times u were wrong? When u guaranteed Miami would beat Mavs in the finals.

And when you guaranteed Lakers would win West. Wonder what you'll have to say if they don't even make the playoffs.
I never guaranteed Miami would beat the Mavs. Never. Sure, I bet MIA but never guaranteed it. I actually said many times in many threads I was scared of the Mavs as a heat fan. Go check if you want. If I'm wrong I'll give you all these tokens.

I still guarantee Lakers will win the west.

I remember distinctly because you had a couple of big threads for Miami to win that series, even when they trailed. And you were fully sure Heat were winning that series (I can't recall if your thread said 'guarantee'), and I'm sure you'll admit to that....if not I'm certain I can find that thread.

But anyway, nothing against that cuz even i thought Heat were winning that series - but you can't just take credit where you're right and not when wrong.

No it's not a long shot for them to make the playoffs. Typical knee-jerk reaction. Take a look at the Lakers schedule after the all star break then get back to me. Lakers are built for a 7 game series. You can go on and keep thinking the best record in the NBA wins the title all the time. After all, the Bulls and Spurs have won it all every year for the past 4 years.

Shooting over 47% & which is currently better than 27 of the other 29 starting shooting guards in the league
