No kidding! Just one factor I use when placing a bet. Obviously you cap, look at spots, injuries, etc. However the # is always important and movement on that # I take into consideration a times. This line had Fakers written all ov it I thought ... shit happens!Comment -
I usually just bet 2nd half in NBA now. I got burned too much by just betting on the whole game. At least if you just bet the 2nd half, you get to watch the first half and get an idea of form for that night. Too many times you'll see things like the Heat not caring about individual games because game 35 on the schedule really doesn't matter to them because they are a so-called "championship team" who just care about doing just enough to get into the playoffs... Even if not caring about an individual game causes a family who spent hard earned money to go see players ball, go home disappointed. With that rant out of the way, tonight I took Heat ML 2nd half. Why? the heat were only down 1 at the end of first half, they were playing like they were "up" for this game, the Lakers are old as Hell (yes, I know Wade is old too), and Kobe has always been a ball hog which is acceptable when you still "have it" but Kobe "lost it" a while ago. The secret is to start off by ignoring the line as to not influence your decision. Then handicap the game and set your own line. Compare it to your book and look for variance (or better yet, line shop). If the lines are the same, it means the line is sharp and you avoid the game. If there's a difference, you pick the side thats the most advantageous based on your set line regardless of who you "feel" should win.

Miami played good last nite against GS and Wade and LeBron got some good rest plus this was the last game of their road trip with 5 or so days off after this so I thought they would be playing hard. 2 wins by the scrub Lakers and the line set at -2.5 all these SBR wannabe sharps taking the crap team just because of the line L O fuckin L how do u take the crap team against the Champs
