    Rockets-3 vs New Orleans?
WTF is up with these lines? Are the books purposely trying to get 65% of public on Rockets? Seems fishy, sorta like, heat-2 vs pacers, clippers-2.5 vs Utah. The rockets have covered 11 out of the last 12 spreads and the books come out with this bs line? The line should be -5, -6. The hornets do have eric Gordon back which makes it a little easier to bet on them for me. Want to bet on Rockets but the line has messed with my head.

Hornets seems to be playing a lot better with Gordon. They even beat Spurs.

how is this a bs line? Rockets are a home team and they have been average at best on the road. Also worth mentioning Hornets are finally healthy and playing great ball as their win over the Spurs yesterday shows. Line is spot on.

I don't know, the rockets have been on fire as of late and been destroying spreads. Perhaps you're right that the line is on target. This will be a btb game for the rockets, on road, eric Gordon back. I just don't understand the linesmaking. Seems to me if you made the line -5 the public would still be on the rockets, 55% prob. So why make it -3 knowing 60-65% will be on rockets?

to answer your question they don't "make up" the lines.
