Lakers have had since Tuesday to prepare for this game. Kobe said they lost their last game because "they're old as shit." He's right. But tonight they will have the energy and the focus to hang with the Clipjoint. Clippers were playing some great ball but every team goes through ebbs and flows and now I think they are going to struggle for a little bit.
Given both these teams records and their play of late, why didn't the books open Clippers at least -4.5? I think it's telling that they opened at only -3.5 and that garnered plenty of LAC action. Also think it's interesting that pinnacle hasn't moved to 5. Greek wouldn't move to 4.5 until this morning while most books were there last night.
