Why were the Pacers so heavily favoured and why are they winning by so much? Am i missing something?

The Pacers were only favored by 3.5 points. When I capped them using the above method and analysis, I figured out in my estimation that they should have been favored by -14.5. Since it was my first time capping like this I bought the pacers at -3 at 5Dimes, because i would rather have a push if someone hit a last second three, then have a loss. Also the half point only cost me $0.80 more (-110 at -3.5, -118 at -3).
