Celtics may have thrown game last night. +468 ML tonight.
I'm taking the Celtics ML +468 just enough to make back
what I lost last night, and basic ATS, because the way the
C's shot so poorly was out of character to say the least..
seeing Kevin McHale for the first time after recently losing his
23 yr old daughter to lupus..
KG hugged him for like 2 minutes straight. I really don't think the
C's had any killer instinct especially in the second half.. the
McHale tragedy had to be on their minds, I don't have to tell
anyone about the long history between Kevin McHale and Kevin
Garnett.. not to mention McHale is a Celtics legend so some of
that was hanging over Doc and Paul's heads too, maybe even
    Rondo's..
then you have them possibly looking ahead to tonight's more
marquee matchup vs San Antonio, at least after hearing Doc talk
this week the emphasis was surely on San Antonio and prepping
for tonight's matchup. I underestimated some of the lesser-known
role players on Houston, but really for reasons stated above the
Celtics effort fell apart, sure they were visibly playing hard, but
there was no focus at all, no "in the zone" mode.
Looking forward to tonight's game and forgetting about last
    night's strangeness.

Good luck. I'd like to back them as well, but this Boston team just isn't very good Snow.

It's just as good of a Boston team as last year who were 1 game away from an nba finals appearance with a 75% pierce and a 75% ray allen. Boston doesn't care about the regular season until after the all star break. Same knee-jerk reactions over and over by sbr.

that's right, people need to remember Boston looked like chit last season before
the break also. Still, not the same team without Avery Bradley, no equations
on where Boston goes would be complete without him, as a matter of fact if
Bradley was available in the series vs Miami I don't think we'd be seeing LeClown
            with a ring.

snowball this line is strange. spurs are off 2 losses and boston looked like shit last night and an old team on a b2b against a run-and-gun team like the spurs doesn't always work well. i want to take boston too because it's just too many points for this kind of matchup of hofamers but my head says spurs will walk away with this by double digits and boston will struggle to defend in the 2nd half.

I've got the Celtics +15 in a teaser where I already hit the other play,
+11, and ML, just enough on the ML to make back from last night.
I'm sticking with my theories in the first post.
Celtics shot a flat 40% last night
against a much-less than average defending team.

When I saw "the hugs" (both Doc and KG) after the game
I realized why taking them last night was wrong..
but the line tonight is mostly about reaction, if
the C's beat Houston by 10 last night, this line wouldn't be here.
                  Public has a short memory.
