You're right, he was just going after him to tell him that he thinks he was wrong. And that was exactly the reason why he threw his mouthpiece, too. He just wanted to discuss in a normal way. That's why his mates had to hold him back. Yep. Whatever.

He walked at him to look tough knowing that his team mates would try and settle him down as if to say "look at me, I'm a beast that can't be tamed". He's not going, nor did he gesture at punching a ref.

It would actually be funny if no one intervened because he would get to the ref and then think "damn, now what am I gonna do? Someone come stop me from doing nothing.

I think he gets 2 games for the mouth piece throw and the league spin it as a "disease" issue.
