I'm not a fan of betting on a streak to end or hoping for a team to come around that hasn't shown any signs of it yet (cough cough LA) ...should the heat really be a 14pt favorite vs anyone right now? On the other hand, there are a lot of angles tomorrow. Heat at home, NOH played tonight, heat have both revenge factor vs NOH and of course the bounce back from NY. Not sure I'll bet this game but interesting nonetheless.

EDIT: to be clear, by the title I am not suggesting that heat are the play. If anything I think it's NOH and again I probably won't play it at all. Just think its an interesting one to speculate on

I am speculating that the Heat (at least the big 3 of the Heat, who can call their own shots) are committed to getting to the playoffs in the best health possible. That means every regular season games is played like an all-star game, lots of offense and no defense. They might turn the dial up one to two notches to avoid getting beaten too much or too badly, but we might not see the real Heat again until ground hog's day...

No. I don't even want to begin to list all the reasons why. The Heat have "No Play" listed on them for the rest of the season pretty much. Just... No. There's like 10 other games on the card, 20 different possible plays if you count o/u and spreads, just pick another game to cap.

I think it has been at least the last 11 games now they haven't shown much defensive intensity in the first half. Maybe they will step up the intensity earlier in the second half, leaving room for some good fades on first half spreads...

Depends which Heat show up tomorrow. I'll likely pass as they are so inconsidtent. Lebron could easily dominate the entire game like he does in 4Q last 2 minutes so often, he just never does

Heat lost their hunger. It's obvious and none of the talking heads on TV feel the need to bring it up. We all wondered how Lebron would respond to winning a ring

I thought the wake up call was after the Wizards loss? Wasn't that why everyone was on Miami the other night? They must have missed the first call....

I like that "real soon" comment too....leaves you alot of outs.....doesn't have to be this particular game, doesn't have to be their next game....it could be in a week from now or even next month....but you can say you saw it coming.
