I thought it would have been more than a 1.5 point move.

They pulled the line entirely. The -6.5 or -7 was only available for a few minutes after the announcement before every book pulled it off the board. The 6.5/7 was an old line, really. When lines are reposted, you'll see your big move.

Poppovich does this several times a season and he's doing it tonight.

Nothing to do with Heritage. Every single book pulled the line.

Leonard and Jackson have been out with injuries so the Spurs are actually missing six regulars.

Yes I know he does it several times a season, but not on games like this. He does it on games that are winnable without 1 or more of the big 3. Like when they play Charlotte or Wizards etc. A move like this would have been feasible in the Toronto or Wizards game or any of the road games aside from Miami. Would make no sense to make a move that guaranteed a loss especially when the West standings are so close. Someone needs to post a link or legitimate tweet from a reputable source.

I wonder what this does to Miami psychologically. At any rate glad I smashed the early Miami lines and have lucked out.
