Portland has no depth, Aldridge having back problems and Detroit at home coming off an embarassing loss I think this line is fair maybe it should be Por -1 at most

Piston IMO. Take a look at some numbers of Portland on the road:

- Portland averages 103.7ppg at home and 92.2 on the road
- Portland is 3-3-1 ats as a home team and 2-4-0 as road team and has yet to be favored on the road
- Portland is 28th on the boards
- Detroit scores 12 more points in the paint than Portland

I think a low scoring game favors Detroit with their advantage on the boards and huge scoring discrepency Road: Home. EDIT: also Portland's bench is terrible, I dont feel like looking up the numbers but I'm pretty sure theyre last in bench points, again I see this as a low scoring game and if they can't get any points from their bench I can't see an angle for taking them on the road here

Detroit also has been getting much better as the season goes on, I called their first win at Philly two weeks ago, I think Portland may be up for portions of this game, but I have yet too see them play consistently for 4 quarters to be able to take them here on the road with their numbers not too great on it

books didn't know anything more than us. a lot of us here took the pistons based on the matchups. the nba is all about matchups.
