i was wrong before.
1) i should know better
2) and i really should have more respect for authority.
Ultimately, i was forced to change my tune, after seeing the ease with which they dispatch teams when they play on the road. Especially top teams. The Lakers are super-tight..*a lot of passing and no-turnovers (well, that's impossible, but next to none).. they pass so well, and so quickly, it's like there are 7-8 Lakers on the Offensive End.
As well, the second reason, or the main reason, is team speed. I don't think anybody can run with them for 48 minutes.. least of a team of college players like the Thunder, who are too young.. and don't really know how to run for four quarters... or even in which direction.
A team might get lucky for a Quarter or a Half.. but nobody will manage the Lakers for a full 48 min.
My problem before, (i admit now) was my blindness.. i have a tendency to see "jerseys" on the floor, but not the events as they transpire before my eyes..*and my personal bias colors my evaluation, and i was not willing to extend them the credit they obviously merit and deserve.
