I got the over last night at 189 and now its moved to 186! I would do the under so I can even out and maybe win but now I'm nervous to do it because it could be 187 or 188 and lose out on everything...!! What do I do!?? Help please?

Just trust your original bet. If you believe it's gonna go over, then trust it. In the longrun, it's much better not to continuously second guess your bets. Let it go. If you win, try to get better at predicting line movements. If you lose, figure out why your pick was wrong and get better that way. But don't second guess your picks and constantly hedge if line movements don't go your way.

I took the under last night at 189. I like the line movement. It doesn't always mean it will go my way but I like the extra points regardless.

There's really not a lot that can be done in your spot, the reality is that given the line movement your in a -EV situation right now and unlike what the guy above me says in the long run your going to lose....
The best thing to do though is just sweat it out because doing anything else is prob a bit cashing-your-money-esc like taking the under and trying to fade the middle, or taking over 186 and trying to hit at least one
Taking a side of the line @ 186 is just taking another flip so if your really worried about the possibility of losing both then i'd say best to stay on the safe side

Lol nice brag guy, OP takes the over line drops and he asks for help, so how nice of you to swing into this thread so you can brag about your own run good
and ofc you like the line movement if you took the under it doesn't really need to be said

hey pal. I'm not rubbing anything in. Sometimes you are on the movement side and sometimes it's against you. I can post what I damn well please and if you don't like what I post keep it to yourself.

This line is deflated because the Knicks just played a low scoring game versus the Pacers. I'm on the OVER 186 and not sweating a thing.

Why would I keep it to myself, this is a forum after all....
The guy is about to jump off a bridge after he took the over and the line shoots down, how does you coming in here saying "hey everybody I took the under before it went down, look how lucky I am" help the situation lol

Ok if it's a forum and you can say what you want. I can say what I want. My point is the guy who made the thread hasn't said anything, just you running your mouth. So again, I will say what I want, when I want. This is the last I will speak of it since I don't like wasting my breathe. peace

Anthony Davis is out for those who do not know. Was officially announced about 20 mins ago (explains all the weird line movements).

Ahhgg I usually catch onto people getting left out, but god dang that really screwed my over. The knicks are scoring at will ( well Melo is) and the Hornets can score points if Anthony D plays. But damn he is out!?!? SHIAT! The over still isn't out of reach, but just imagine if Anthony D was playing, this would be an over for sure!

God damn its looking good for me, I was scared it was to high since hte line movement( didnt matter) I made the bet because NOH has scored in 90s every time Anthony Davis plays ( but it doesnn't matter) I also teased some things.. Ill post my plays in my thread I started:
Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.
Does anyone know if you can change the title? If not I'll copy and paste a new one.. I've actually been on fire in NBA this year. I suck at NFL but NBA im balling!

For pinnacle, I got it @ U185 with less than 7 mins or so, but then it changed to 186 after I made my bet minutes before tip off. Looks like it's prob going over tho, shoulda waited and watch line movement more carefully

I didn't mean to make it sound like it's not a -EV play in the longrun. It absolutely is. Statistically, if you continuously lose to the closing line, you will lose. However, if you continuously hedge because you have a -EV bet instead of letting it ride and learning from the experience, you will lose more. That's what I meant.
