Knew the Sixers wouldn't pull it out in OT and the Wizards got it to OT but, couldn't pull it off. Thankfully my 2 unit play on the Bulls & Lakers cashed, and is now up to the Timberwolves to see if my day is going to end up in the green or red.

What a horrid day yesterday. 0-5 and a loss of 8.8 units

Update: 19-23 (-5.80)

Struggling heavy in the NBA lately and seems as if most people are. I'm going to try to pick my spots better and get back into the green. Luckily NFL and NCAAB helped me out a little to make it not such a bad day.

Will post my plays soon.

just fade anythinf remotely public. that 50% overall public win/loose is a farce....anything public plays gets slaughtered .always.

Honestly I have been fading the public this year in certain spots, not all of them and it hasn't worked out as you can see. I know some cappers that are having the same problem with the NBA and can't seem to be getting anything going.

Do you bet NBA at all? If so, how have you been doing?

I took some time off from the NBA to just watch the games and see how everything played out. I plan on getting back to it tonight with full write-ups on each play. Let's get back into the green!

1u Knicks -3.5 -103 (5 Dimes)

Knicks head to Brooklyn against the Nets for tonights matchup. The Nets coming into this game are without Brook Lopez, a major part to this Nets team. He averages about 18 points per game and 7 boards a game. He is actually there leading scorer over Deron Williams. The Nets are on a 4 game losing streak right now and without Lopez isn't going to help especially against the hot Knicks team. The Nets do play good strong defense but, the Knicks offense has been clicking on all cylinders this season averaging 102.8 points per game. With Lopez out I believe the Knicks will win the battle of the boards with Chandler whose is averaging 10 a game, that will create less 2nd chance points for the Nets and could create offensive boards for the Knicks and will lead to 2nd chance points and easy buckets. During the 4 game skid for the Nets they're letting up on average 106 points per game, compared to 93 per game on the season so something is changing with that defense. In the Knicks past 5 games they're allowing 97 points per game and I expect them to shut down the Nets and create them to take outside shots to win this game. With that said, Knicks -3.5 is my pick for today.

1u DEN/DET OVER 202.5 -104 (Matchbook)

Denver Nuggets travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons as a 4.5/5 point favorite. Detroit is 7-16 but, 5 of those wins have came at home. Detroit averages 94.3 points per game on the season but, at home they've played 10 games and they average 102.7 per game when at home. We all know that Denver puts points on the board and allows points. On the season, Denver scores 100 per game and allows 101 per game. Denver will always score, thats just what they do. In order for them to win games they need to score more and more points since there defense is non-existing. Even though this total is high I still believe this will be a high scoring game with Detroit possibly upsetting Denver in this one. I'm going with the over in this one.

1u Atlanta Hawks ML -630 (5 Dimes) WINNER

The Hawks have won 10 of their last 12 games and are going up against the struggling Bobcats who have lost their past 9 games. I'm risking a lot to win a little but, I'm pretty confident in Atlanta winning this one. Atlanta is 24-4 against the ML when playing poor shooting teams making 43% or lower of their shots over the past 2 seasons. The Atlanta Hawks are going to roll easily in this one.

1u Knicks/Lakers OVER 206.5 -110 (5 Dimes) WINNER

Knicks are getting hot once again this season. Knicks have won 7 of their last 8 games. Going up against the struggling Lakers who have lost 5 of their last 6 and are 2-7 on the road. The Knicks last 4 home games have went OVER the total. Also the Knicks are 22-6 after 2 straight games attempting 10 or more shots than their opponent since 1996.

San Antonio are coming off a road loss against the Utah Jazz after Mo Williams hit a buzzer beater 3. The Spurs have won 5 of their 6 games and are 9-2 in the last 11 as an away favorite. Spurs are also 4-0-1 versus the spread if they have played the night before this year. San Antonio is 36-12 ATS verus' teams who don't get to the foul line a lot (24/game) over the last 2 seasons.
