there's one catch, if the public is not on it.
you seen what happen with Memphis at home today ?? denver 2-5 on road record vs 4-0 at home team

Yea, I agree. I just checked some previous games and I can't see another play but the Knicks. -6.5 seems about right since they're on the road playing against a young, hungry, Hornets team.

Hornets are an underrated team who can cover average spread such as this one. A lot should expect the Knicks to bounce back, as I do, but the Hornet have the personel to keep up with the Knicks. They are pretty good defending the paint and the perimeter. I think the Knicks are slowly settling down and their high averages will come back down to earth. I get this feeling that they won't be able to keep up the hot streak they started but stay somewhere in there where they are able to win games. I hope I'm getting what I mean across. You could also say that the Knicks are going to losen up a bit as they look ahead the better competition the next day in Dallas. Again, I see the Hornets keep up with the Knicks enough for a cover.

I'm on Hornets personally, 80% of the bets being placed on Knicks? Never liked to be on that side.

why are you scared of public bet? what do you expect from people? betting now orleans against new york?
or do public bets always fail? is there a statistic about it?

im teasing knicks -2.5. We have the youngest team vs the oldest team in the nba. Positional matchups just seem to be in favor of the knicks. You think some 19 year old (Davis) is going to be dominate over Sheed or Chandler? Felton and Kidd might carve the living hell out of this hornets team.

The hornets are overrated if anything. They do not have the personnel to keep up with this deep veteran knick squad. Rookie davis will get a welcome smack to nba and hornets will be shutdown. Also, the knicks already came back down to earth w the comeback win in SA after being down 12 in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter and also in the loss to memphis and respectfully being slowed down a lil by pacers. This will be another double digit pissed off win by the knicks. The hornets are just not nearly physical enough for these tough ny players. Expect melo to have his season high for points this game as well. Sry pal but GL

why are the Knicks pissed off? They are 7-1 coming off a win where they barely had to show up. If anything they would be satisfied and content with their start. This is the a classic let-down spot for NY. The Hornets always play hard at home and are going to be the hungrier team. I think they keep this one close, maybe pull of the W

I don't think so bro. Don't bet on teams on a "letdown" spot. The Knicks r a different team this year. Quite frankly, they've impressed me so far with their intensity. I think J Kidd has a lot to do with that. He is probable for the game and is a key guy in their fast start this year. I won't say they cover, but they don't lose in this spot.

this is exactly why i think it's a possible let-down - they have played with abnormal intensity all year and i don't think that's possible to keep up. I think going to New Orleans is going to be a tough game for them to get up for, especially seeing as they've played the Spurs and Grizzlies lately. Regardless covering 6 on the road is not an easy task, and the Knicks have to be a little overvalued at this point. Not close enough to the team to know what kind of effect J Kidd's leadership has had tbh

I've looked at some of the previous games for both teams. The Hornets give up a lot of points to good offensive teams. Sounds obvious but, they do this in the 1H of games. We all know the Knicks can score with the best of them. The Knicks have been hit or miss with the amount of points they give up and this is the tough part of this game's 1H. Will the Knicks stop the Hornets from scoring? I'm guessing the Knicks score 50 plus in the 1H and give up under 45. With that being said, I like:

                                                  Knicks -3 1H

If anything they would be satisfied and content with their start. This is the a classic let-down spot for NY. The Hornets always play hard at home and are going to be the hungrier team. I think they keep this one close, maybe pull of the W

lol @ anyone still doubting this knicks team. and wtf @ overvalued. they're 26-7 since woodson took over, with a winning margin this year of over 14.

they're going to destroy the shitty teams all year. the only ones that have a chance are the ones that are great on the offensive glass, which are few and far between.
