The over/under for the Suns/Lakers is not one that looks good for the simple fact that the Suns give up 97.8 points and the lakers only give up 91.3 on average this year. According to the numbers, there is a reverse movement on the total as 85% of bettors are on the over, and it went down instead of up. According to what I see the line started at 205.5, and it is now down to 204.5 on my books. Not a good sign for the over.

wow.... i'm not even going to address your 7 other off topic posts, but just to say... what the hell does them winning teh championship have to do with this games specifically... boston has looked rough around the edges this year and incumbent champs normally don't do a lot of covering the next year (you could look that one up... you said something about detroit's first two games with AI... how many teams do you know that just gel like that when they add that much of a star to their lineup and totally alter their chemistry... lakers last year MAYBE, but that's about it. They've gotten used to each other now and are making good things happen.

Also, did you ever look that stat up about how detroit is ATS after a dd loss? that dd loss is what's going to make it harder for boston to beat them, because detroit now has a lot more motivation to get up for this game and if you don't remember what happened last year when detroit went to the garden... they won...

Wizard, i was one of those who had San Diego, and unfortunately I won't give the monetary gift back to my books for the gaffe. So to is the case with the cover Utah had against the Bucks yesterday evening. I can't give back the monetary gift caused by that the errors made at the end of the game by the Bucks. Not that it was brilliant, or not that it was a foolhearted win, it was just what it is. A win. And in this thing of ours, that's all that you can ask for. It's like a squibber that gets through the infield that cashes a first inning run ticket for me (and believe me I have won many of those), if you see it, the moment presents its'self as luck. if you don't see it and read the box score, it looks like a liner to center over the outfielders' head. It's not good practice to speak badly of fate. It just is what it is. See you guys later this afternoon.

OK I I wanted to get this in early before things change and will be back later to post anything else I like. I am taking Detroit 1st, 2nd quarter ml, half +4 and Half ML. Also taking them for the game. +7. Detroit played last night and well in the 3rd and 4th and should carry over. In addition you have the revenge factor, Garnett coming back (which will screw with the minutes) and Iverson and his match up with Boston. Unlike Ck I really don't see any value in Detroit in the 3rd or 4th. Boston will make a run and I don't know if there is any value for the ML game but I sure as hell know there is in the 1st half. So there it is. Gl

Yo BMM.. I understand the minute mixing when a player has been down for several games but KG was suspended for one game.. No minute mixing issues here, they all know who he is and how to get him the ball.. The way I see it, is these two teams are too competitive for this long of a spread which should be more like -3 or 4. No matter how you slice it they're two of the top three teams in the East and tonight's game will be a close one..

icsky - i am with you on the over..pistons are better offensively and not as good defensively now that AI is on the team so we should see each team put up at least 90 tonight..pistons should keep the tempo from slowing down most of the game too

Pistons will want to keep this a fast paced game, with Iverson pushing the ball from the point knowing that Boston has a great halfcourt defense, especially at home. I agree Detroits defense has been less than stellar since the AI acquisition. The over looks good. I'm also on Detroit.

hey, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in and get some feedback from you guys. I'm definitely not CK mafia nor do i plan to be but you guys definitely have a talent capping NBA which is my weak sport so I've been tailing a number of picks the past week. Keep up the good work fellas.. anyways.

I took det +11 and steelers -5 teaser for 3 units, and over 103 1st half in the lakers game for 2 units. Those are the only bets I've laid so far involving NBA. The Lakers aren't the only team that you can do that with, trust me. Matter of fact, why did it work AGAINST the Lakers when I took Detroit for every quarter, the half and the game moneyline and last week?

You've got to know that everyone told me that the Lakers would blow out the Pistons prior to the game right? But I knew that the Pistons were in a position to do the exact opposite, and just like that situation, I know that the Pistons are in a position to dominate the opposition (Celtics) tonight. Thank you for your concern, however. I expect to be the minority on this call too. When I feel that the dog is better than the favorite, I will always do it every time (pound moneylines). Detroit is the best team in the East for years in a row. They may not win it every year, but they are in it every year. The Celtics were great last year, and they have not been winning by large points at home this year, and this time it bites them in th rear. The Pistons deserve a better spread than the scrub spread that is being offered. That they certainly are not.

Ah yes, we have arrived at the day when the Celtics are going to have revenge served to them cold by the Pistons. The Pistons (which is my favorite team) are one of the best teams that I know at revenge games. And this one fits the bill as the Pistons lost by 18 to the Celtics a few weeks ago. And now they get their chance to exact revenge upon the Gang Green.

The Celtics have an unblemished home record true, but they have been winning in an unimpressive fashion. With KG coming back into the fold after a game suspension by the league the Celtics will have to mix back in his minutes. No good facing the Pistons who are firing on all cylinders (no pun intended) and playing in better form coming into this game. I am going to wait until the morning as my book doesn't have all of the moneylines up yet. I already took the Pistons at +6.5 this evening. I will take them for each and everything that I can in this game, as i don't intend on touching the lakers/Phoenix game and I want to concentrate solely on this game, and Georgia Tech in college football. I will put $100.00 on each quarter moneyline, $500.00 on the 1st half, and $200.00 each on the 1st half and game moneylines, and $1100.00 on the game spread, which is already done.

In other words, I plan on getting paid as many times as I can off of this one game. The last time that I did this is (made 6 moneyline bets on one game along with 1st and game wagers) when the Pistons played the Lakers I only lost the fourth quarter moneyline bet, and cashed every single ticket outside of that.

I never questioned you're ability to win.. Just questioned the plays you had today.. Playing a team that just came off a very though Defencesive game the night before.. you set you're self up for a bad day playing them for every qt and the game. I am a Detroit die-hard true, but I have won more often that not with Detroit. I will continue to back them. Sure I took some lumps tonight, but it's all part of wagering. I know how to get it back tomorrow. Hey it worked against the Lakers on a back to back. Win some lose some. No sense in getting caught up in why.

Lose a game and no one will explain anything to you about how you set yourself up to lose. And if you should happen to lose no one will explain to you what you should have done ( I'm speaking of my gang, the CK Mafia). I had the Lakers at -4 last night I was just wondering if you put anything on it today. The Pistons cost me my 8 team teaser and 8 team parlay today those are only for fun though I put no more than 5 dollars down on it, but the parlay would have been a nice payout for only 5 bucks lol. Ended up like 6-1-1 today maybe 7 if the lakers pull it off.
