Phil Jackson literally seems senile to me now. I dont think i've seen a worse coaching job that i can remember. I just dont know how you bet the Lakers never knowing how Phil is going to be feeling.
Examples:
The Detroit game. I've got the under in the second half (98 i believe). With 3 minutes left the Lakers are down by 17 and the total in the second half is 75. Should be a winner, right?
nope. Phil keeps every single one of his starters in the ENTIRE game. They foul on almost every possession and the game flies over. Congrats, Phil...you risked injury to get your team to w/in a dozen or so.
Last night's game. I need the Lakers to fill a 3 teamer. They are up by 19 in the 4th, but then Chicago starts coming back. They cut it to 13. They bring their starters back in. Where's Kobe? Oh...sitting on the bench. Phil brings him back in with 4 minutes left up by 10 and Chicago has the ball. What the hell is he thinking? Then the lead gets back to 13 and he takes him out. Not to mention he's giving Josh Powell tons of 4th quarter minutes while Ariza and others ride the pine.
So which is it, Phil? Risk injury when you're down by 20 w/ no chance of winning or sit your stars while the other team comes storming back and risk losing?
I'm thoroughly disgusted. I dont think he has a clue what he is doing. Sure, i'm more upset cuz he screwed my bets, but as a Lakers lifelong fan i'd be pissed anyway. The team I saw last night cant touch Boston.
