How Much Do Back-to-Backs Actually Matter?
... Anybody know the statistics on this? I know Sacramento sucks, but Portland is on a back to back, and currently blowing them out. The Raptors went into Indiana and won tonight, the Clippers went up to Portland on a back to back and won, etc etc.

Is this a case of it just being the beginning of the season, and teams trying to figure things out? Or does the latter end of a back-to-back situation not mean much in the NBA?

Anybody got stats? Or even just thoughts?

It's the beginning of the season I don't think the back-to-backs are too much of an issue right now. Although, I did think it would matter for Toronto coming off a triple overtime game then having to travel.

You'll get the "cappers" to tell you b2b's matter....but the ones with a clue know everything is factored into the line.

Age means a lot. A back 2 back game will hurt San Antonio or the Lakers a lot more than it will young studs like OKC or the Clippers.
