I never, ever bet on the Lakers and think the Spurs might be the best team in the West.
With that said, I think LA takes this one.
Lakers +1. GL.
2-0-1 YTD.

Too many things going on in LA for me to lay money on this game.

Yeah, it seems very risky.
New coach, Nash still injured, Lakers are schizo, etc.
I still like it. Either way, it's only a one unit play. It's a grind.

Writing is on the wall.
Either side's going to be sweating out their bet.
Probably come down to a last-second shot.

That's why you take the home team. Kobe will get the calls.

With ya BigD on the Fakers. Perfect spot for them here, to perhaps do to San what the Clipps did a week ago at the Forum. Spotlight teams rise to the spotlight games. New coach is home, Fakers have the talent awaiting to explode, and though they're underdogs at home it's only by uno.
Typically, I back the Spurrs too, and not the Fakers, of course am a Celtics fan. Lakers -9 type spreads at home don't usually attract me. However, Lakers +1, at home, tonight against the Spurrs who last week were smoked at the Forum, is a solid play. Plus, Covers' consensus leans on the Spurrs, and I enjoy fading those leans. Not good to back the Lake Show when everyone else (or a majority) is on 'em, and vice versa.

Figured it would be which is why I took the +1 instead of the ML for a little insurance but I still think LA will get the calls the final minute.

I really don't know why I don't just double tease the side in these games.
Sounds crazy, but it looks like it'd be a cash cow.

Yeah, you pretty much knew it would be like this and I had a feeling it would too which is why I took the +1 as I previously stated.

Final possession, Kobe doesn't touch the ball, and Gasol takes a 3? LOL.

Lakers should've offered Pop $300 million to be their coach.

They denied Kobe the ball. Pau had no choice but to shoot it.

That was a great play. That's why I'm always so high on the Spurs. They have the best coach in the game so they will also be a threat.
You expected Parker or Duncan and instead the play is drawn up for Green who was wide open. Meanwhile, LA gets off a horrible shot after they get pinned in the corner.

Yeah, they did but I don't understand why Gasol had the ball pinned in the corner anyway.
