Gotta love SA here, Lakers can only beat trash teams like Detroit and GSW.. SA opening as favorites says alot imo.. especially with the new coach

How does Spurs opening at ONLY -1 say a lot leaning in SA favor? If SA was going to win this game at all, I would expect the line to open at Spurs -3.5... line favors LA and I think LA wins by double digits. "Garbage team" is definitely not Golden State nor Sacramento Kings IMO, Pistions(yes). Especially after Danonti announcement all the key players must be hyped as hell, including the fans hyped up, and what about Darius Morris...this kid is out playing Steve Blake and should start since Blake is expected to not play.

Lakers have always wanted to be an uptempo team and should have from game 1. I follow every Lakers game and they looked absoluteness garbage in Mike Browns garbage offense. Players would come up court stop at the 3pt line and start passing around outside the 3pt line. Past two games the Lakers look good with the flow as they no longer stay outside the 3pt and pass the ball around like they're still playing high school basketball. I also notice other bench players are recieving more time, as Mike Brown usually hates playing inexperience players.

Bold Prediction:
Jodie Meeks and Jamison will finally have great contributes off the bench(they are also better in an uptempo game)
Darius Morris will show that he should be the REAL back up to Steve Nash when he returns. Solid PG just never got enough minutes.
Dwight Howard dominates the glass against a 24th ranked spurs squad in rebounding and DH12 averaged 28 pts 18 reb 3blk last year in two games vs the spurs while shooting 68%

Parker expected to play.... no Blake does nothing but gain for the Lakers, Darius Morris is solid and showed in his past 2 games when playing 20+ minutes

I watch every Lakers game as well. You're delusional if you think the crowd will be happy that the Lakers passed on Phil and went with Dantoni. Even if it was the right decision (which is heavily debatable), the crowd won't like that they passed on a 5 time winning coach WITH THEIR TEAM and arguably the best coach ever for a coach that's never won.

Also, Darius Morris is NOT the true back up to Nash. He's still young and he still makes A LOT of mistakes. The true back up after D'antoni's signing is and should be Duhon. Duhon excelled in D'antoni's offense before until he wore out later in the year because he just can't take starter minutes but with a backup role and Jordan Hill to pair up with, they should be a very very good bench.

What that team needs now is an athletic wing. That's been missing since Ariza was traded.

And if you think Mike Brown hates playing unexperienced players, just wait for D'antoni... He has long been known to hate developing young players so...

Wow, I tip my hat off HUGELY to Green and Parker. They had a heck of a game. And I was wondering where's Ginobili then, and then I remembered back spasms. But according to the betting computer Gasol was suppose to hit that 3 pointer causing the Lakers to win by 1 lol. But the Spurs could have won this hands down, but they looked out of it. They were just going through the motions of playing the game with not much effort. A well rested Spurs team would have dominated this game. But Kobe was amazing. I can't believe they let one guy almost beat him.
