2012 nba road system

SOLOMAN has done this in the past....When a team is on a 3 game road trip ( if it is a 6 game trip, you start on the 4th game, for the last three). You bet one half at a time. Up to 6 halves but it rarely goes past bet 3 or 4. If you are betting 100$ on bet one and it does not cover, then you take the bet you lost and add 100, making it 210 and so on. If the team covers the first bet, the series is over and you will be winning 100/series.

Why couldn't you just double up your bet every time on a home team getting points?? Why would you need a "system," eventually using the double up system Madrigal (I think it's called) you will win your money back wont you!? What does the 3 game in 6 game starting on the 4th game have to do with anything!?
