I decided yesterday that i would stop betting on the nba, but i see some free money out there. vegas is so in love with the lakers that they continue to overvalue them by making them the favorite in all games. so i think that i'm just going to bet against them and get this free $$$$$ until vegas catches on and starts making the lakers double digit dogs.

Chaz got it right, Vegas loves the lakers only because the public does. Vegas i'm sure is cleaning up on people betting for the Lakers, so why would Vegas "get it" and make them a dog. The average Joe is betting the Lakers as favorites why would vegas change that unless they start losing big on the other side. Vegas will ride the Lakers for another couple weeks then adjust as always. In the mean time, the lakers aren't a bad fade considering other factors obviously. Just like the Patriots a couple years ago, they covered 7 out of the first 8, Vegas aadjusted the lines for a public team and the Patriots didn't cover again the rest of the regular season...
