yeah right on roasthawg felt same way man. Glad I had few teasers without IND but of course Houston turned into the late night version of IND and screwed my other ones!
But cashed in and still up just a bit today overall which I'm happy with

Nice...the NBA is such a rollercoaster man, it's gotta be the toughest sport to cap by far. Every night I find a new way to almost give myself a nervous breakdown!

yeah same here, this is first season for me capping NBA I swear I pick the ones everybody is against, ATL vs Boston, Den vs Boston, and then go easy on those and then lay it on the solid ones to me, and then those come up stinkers. I either need to lessen teams in my parlays and teasers, making sure to not load up one team in all of them, or just need to do spread bets

I really need to find myself a system or something to gather data. I just do all my own research and analysis on sites, but still looking for some sites that tell public betting, and more in-depth stats that are hard to come by.

The NBA is such a crapshoot imo it's better to just watch a ton of basketball and get a feel for the teams. Go to a good site like tsn for the earliest injury updates and go with your gut. Bet hot teams, fade cold ones, and be spot on with your injury evaluations...the NBA is brutal.

I have looked very little into injuries, I mean pay attention but for me that is hard to then switch the spread when somebody goes down because never know some unknown going to score 24 when they previous averaged 8 so its tough.
What is tsn? I need a program to plug all my data into, that would be sweet.

TSN is The Sports Network...as far as I know they are the quickest with the injury updates. The books are still quicker but if you're fast and pay attention you can use the site to get some good lines in comparison to the closing number.

Thanks roasthawg, I'll take a look at it. How do you though account for the difference with injuries like I was saying as never know who is going to pick up scoring or whatever stat, and by how much, or how little?

That's the hard part man...there are two ways that can work as far as I can tell. Either go with your own knowledge of the game if you believe in it or understand what the public's reaction will most likely be and beat them to the punch. If you can combine the two then you're in business...like I said, the NBA is brutal to cap.
