I took Mavs and the points. As long as theres a Lakers the majority will always call them to beat the spread

Last season we had a thread going for how long the Lakers lost vs the spread and it was like 12 games long. Vegas knows the public will take Lakers know matter how big the spread and takes advantage of that fact.

Liking this new look Lakers squad. Still some questions regarding the depth. Starting 5 looking like they've gelled already. Lakers pull away in the 2nd half.

Lakers need to tighten up that perimeter defense. Letting the Mavericks hit 50% from beyond the arc is not a recipe for success. Lakers shooting close to 56% FG's and as mentioned Mavericks shooting 50% 3-pointers.

Can this game turn into a Hack-A-Howard down the stretch?
