Both teams will have to adapt to having very different squads. The Lakers finished the pre-season with an 0-8 record. The Mavs finished 4-4 and seemed to be getting used to playing without Dirk in the lineup. Kobe didn't practice yesterday and is doubtful to play tonight. If he does, it is likely his minutes will be limited. This game should be a lot closer than nine points.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Clippers
The last four of five meetings between these two have gone under 188 points with the exception going over in OT. Both teams have solid perimeter defenders in Chris Paul and Tony Allen, either one could be argued as the best in the league. The Clippers will also lose some offensive production with the suspension of Matt Barnes. With all the changes going on in Memphis and the Clippers thinking about the big showdown with the Lakers on Friday I like this game to go under.

Toronto Raptors @ Houston Rockets
Toronto comes into Houston after having lost four straight games including an overtime loss to San Antonio Sunday night. The Rockets seem to be finding their rhythm with two straight victories in which they not only won ATS but blew out the 9-4 Knicks. Toronto has won only one game on the road this year, and Houston has to be seeking some revenge after getting blown out by Toronto in their last meeting just under nine months ago. Houston is also coming in off two extra days rest and has been solid at home.
