Not a fluke win. I would say the teams are pretty evenly matched.

Golden State will be a lot better this season.

Denver is Denver. They'll make the playoffs and go out in the first round.

I don't want to be misunderstood here. I don't like Denver as much as you do but I still think they are good. I just think last year's team was a little bit better.

T-wizzle are you going to have a write-up for the sixers play? Would love to have some insight from a sixers fan about this game. Was leaning bobcats +3 at first just because of the fact that they're eager to surpass their last season's victories. This is their 3rd attempt in getting their 8th win so I thought that it would be some kind of a "third's time the charm" for them. Also, I think the sixers failed to beat the spread last 4 games or so?

I've been fading the Sixers a lot lately. I don't think the Bobcats are as good as their record but because of their record, I think we're getting a favorable line for Philly. The Sixers usually are pretty good against the weaker teams and I think they will have their way tonight.

Fade the Sixers against bigger teams - they are weak inside. The Bobcats aren't exactly a team with a great frontcourt. They rely more heavily on their guard play. The Sixers are one of the better perimeter defending teams in the league and I look for them to handle the Bobcats fairly easily tonight.

This is a really square play but I think it's the right side.

Huge public play and the fact that Sixers were like -10 or -12 last year in Charlotte but only -3 this year makes it seem like books want Philly money.

-3.5 on the road is a lot for philly with their current team. bobcats have been solid this year and they are getting a little too much respect. they will be below .400 if not worse by season's end. I am a firm believer that the bobcats are one of the worst teams in basketball. Books don't know this yet. Their lines are based off perception and data. philly should roll them tonight but i took the ml as well just to be safe as i still don't like philly's team without bynum.

Highly doubt Bogut returns before March and the Warriors are usually out of it by then...but if he comes back in Feb. they have a shot at the 7-8th seed.
