i played over 1u...look up a few posts

funny i saw this thread today, as i just received my pro basketball prospectus 2012-2013...

it analyzes schedule for each team...

every team but utah has a 4 game in 5 nights stretch. the range is from 1 to 4 times. no real pattern as to which teams. maybe teams that aren't that close to alot of other teams (minnesota and denver) or maybe not.

and i think 3 games in 4 nights. it ranged from 6 or 7 times to 13 or 14 timea, seems like alot of times. i assume the 3 games in 4 nights is a subset of 4 games in 5 nights for some of the cases . i'll look at one of the heavy teams to point out games.

i wish someone could break these down to the actual games. also first game back from a long road trip (i love the pshchology behind this angle - players finally realizing they are tired out, lots of issues to deal with at home etc.). how has it performed? i realize it is a strategy that has been widely touted.

yeah, 3 in 4 happens more frequently so i dont pay attention to it...4 in 5 with a days rest has worked well for me..

i see a study saying 2nd game in two nights is bad ATS. i think it was 2nd game being home game only too.

right....2/rest/2........last year was a ton of 4in5 cause teams played 3 in a row.
i personally dont look at home or away. i just want the team i am backing to be on at least 1 days rest.

Just out of curiosity, what makes u like this play? The Celtics looked good even though they lost in MIA. Pierce looks leaner and quicker this year and I like their draft picks and Terry. I personally think the Celtics roll in a blowout. Just wondering what your angle is on the Bucks. Monta had a horrendous preseason and Jennings could be hit or miss. Can't see the Bucks getting much going against a solid Celtics D at home.

I'm a Celtics fan but sometimes the Celtics can look better than they actually are. The players can usually step it up a gear for the Heat and the Lakers, we all know how clutch Pierce can be. But they tend to get a bit careless for the 'easy' games at home from time to time. I think the C's have a solid team this year, providing injuries, I think they could make the Conference Finals again. But, unfortunately they are just not a match for that Heat team, no one is at the moment. I wouldn't be too suprised to see Boston lose tonight, but I think the Bucks will be within touching distance for a lot of the game. I've quite like Milwawkee since they traded Bogut.

sac game no real feeling but i couldnt lay pts with the wolves - actually leaned hou but then i realized atl got lou williams to replace joe johnson. just got a feeling atl rolls hou off their win

more of a gut play...i can see ellis/jennings keeping this thing within the #. bos has been pretty bad ats at home the last few years with #'s like this (7-10 range)

Oh man, I love that trade from the Hawks viewpoint, getting a quality player in Williams, and getting rid of JJ's ridiculous pay slip in the process. Loved watching Lou Williams come on off the bench for the 49ers last season. I like Hawks this season. Teague, Williams, Smith and Horford. That's a solid 4. Who's most likely to start at SF for Hawks this season? Will L.Williams get more playing time over Harris?
