Because a couple forum trolls are getting to you? I didn't want to post this in your thread b/c I didn't want to be disrespectful, but it seems you turned pms off. Anyways, I highly doubt these 'types of people' get to you in real life. Seriously, think for a minute the 'type of person' who goes to an online forum and trolls successful threads trying to start drama. I'm not going to get into the deep psychological reasons as to why they do this, but let me just say they are probably 'troubled people'. One example, did you see that bleek88 troll guy's dating profile that was exposed a couple days back? I had a picture in my head of that guy before I saw that, and I gotta tell you, it was sooo close to being dead on accurate. Now, I can only imagine what someone like Harun's online real life profile would look like, but I have a pretty good idea and I bet I'd be close too. Ask yourself this: If some low iq, hobo 'type of person' started insulting you at a red light, or while you were jogging, would it ruin your day? Would you even get a little upset? You need to think of these guys for who they really are.

For every 'troubled guy' that insults you when you are on a cold streak, there are probably 10-20 guys (most of them quiet) who enjoy your thread. 'People like Harun' have never won at anything in their life. Don't give them the satisfaction now please... especially at the expense of others.

even if i wanted to pull a brett favre, i cannot as sbr has locked my pm's and edit features. if they had any respect for my contributions (and threads with 50,000-100,000 view every season which bring traffic to the site) they would have banned that terrorist al-qaeda fukface harun - but they didnt and that fine with me. im not above anything as i have always been an honest, transparent and humble member. I really have a hard time thinking there will be someone else that possesses all those traits. Sure someone will roll along who picks games better, but i think this community will be hard pressed to find someone as detailed/accurate/honest and pretty damn good at this in a humble way. i also NEVER attempted to turn tout as most other successful cappers here have done.

My reward for years of loyalty to this place - a locked PM, and now i am truly done.... this was a blast but i am clearly not wanted nor really respected by the higher ups at SBR. I hope you all learned something and i most certainly have learned a ton from everyone here. SBR has transformed me into a winning handicapper, and for that i am truly grateful. Take care fellas - i am sure we will bump into each other at some point in Cyberspace again...

Disappointing outcome, but I don't blame you. There's no reason to put up with any source of stress coming from an internet forum. I'm curious about the locked PMs/Edits though... That seems like an odd reaction from SBR. Did they tell you its a temporary or permanent thing?

I got banned once for posting a link to another SBR thread where I had written a long answer to a question similar to what was being asked in that thread. The moderator's name was Illusion, and he decided I was guilty of posting spam in the forum so he banned me. I complained to Sam and he sorted it out immediately, recognizing that Illusion was an idiot... I can still see a record of the infraction in my settings tab, so maybe there's something there?

Dex, this place is a joke when it comes to trolls, douchebags, etc that come into subforums for no reason at all talking trash, screaming about picks. It's just unfortunate because we're all here for one reason and that's to win money. I just don't understand how people forget that fact and so easily resort to over-competitive, macho bullshit.

I wish you the best and like I said above, I learned a lot from you. I was one of the quiet lurkers for the past 2 years of all of your threads, NCAAF, NBA, NFL, NCAAB, MLB, all of them and all the money management, the system plays, the discipline, the tiny little things that you and LTA always preached about, I really can't thank you more.

I really think any person who actually takes the time to sit, shut up, and learn from some of these threads in this forum whether it's systems, quant modeling, line watching, basic instincts, money management, all of that shit... any person who took the time to learn that stuff, they would be above 52.5% in the long run and that's what it's all about.
