He is very average, as is the Rockets roster.

The western conference is stacked. Rockets will miss out quite easily.

No. They decimated their roster in an attempt to get Dwight Howard. They won't be terrible but they will be slightly above average. Not enough to get into the playoffs. However, they are holding on to some nice draft picks that could turn into something positive in the next couple of years.

Too soon to tell how Lin will pan out. Give him this year. Anyone who says he's average likely ejaculates prematurely.
