Aright guys the chase starts this weekend with CHICAGOLAND race on sunday...both trucks and nationwide series will also be in action both racing on saturday...nationwide from chicagoland saturday afternoon and trucks will be in iowa saturday night..should be a great weekend with all 3 nascar series having races!

Chicagoland is a 1.5 mile D-shaped oval...banking is 18 degress in the turns, 11 on the frontstretch and 5 down the back....the frontstretch is 2,400 feet long, while the back measures 1,700 feet long..

Should be a fun final 10 races for the chase, and hope we end the season as hot as we were all regular season!!...season has just been unbelievable couldnt do it without all the regulars help....as always leans/opinions are always welcome on this thread...the more participation the more we all win every week

PRACTICES: FRIDAY @ 1pm and 4pm (Both are on ESPN2)

QUALIFYING: SATURDAY @ 1:30pm (SPEED)

RACE: SUNDAY @ 1pm on ESPN

ive never bet a champ winner when chase starts but i actually am thinking about it this season...

i might take a few actually Mati....so u like hamlin +450?...how about Keslowski?

Yep, I like Hamlin, can get it for +500 still. Also like Brad as my other option. And then if there is a good chance to cover with Jimmie later in the chase i'll take him as well, but not at current odds.

yeah i agree on jimmy, at least at these odds....im not going to tie up my money for 10-weeks for that...i might take hamlin/kes too...im going to think on it a little while longer and ill post up if i do take anythng

well since i turned pro i started playing and only won 2 175s recently....i always try for all 3 so not good winning percentage to win just 2 times over almost 3-4 months...LOL

i know its a 1 time a year race at chicagoland, and those are always tougher to cap imo

I just like to root for someone, doesn't mean I think he will win.

But, he has been the most consistent driver pretty much all year, hardly ever falling outside the top 3 in standings. Not that consistency wins the chase usually, but it keeps you in the fight and there to grab a chance if it comes.

Too soon for BradK to 'deserve' one yet, neither Ford guy excites me much this year, Gordon and Jimmie have enough, Smoke had his miracle last year... Can't bring myself to root for Denny (as he is such a puss) and as much as I'd like to see MWR do well, 2 cars in the chase is well enough for them this year... so it comes down to Junior by default

Opti I think Mike Ford will be great if they leave him with Ambrose. I had hoped shr would hire him and pair with Newman. Hell at this point I'd put you Opti as crew chief over Tony Gibson

Glad to hear it Vegas. Despite your pain. I don't know a lot about who are good CCs really. Just want to hear the team work well on the scanner, and it has sounded like a dogs breakfast organizational wise a lot of the time with Parrot.

He will be good for Ambrose if they let them stay together. He got thrown under the bus as sole reason Hamlin didn't win title a few years back. Parrot way to excitable as cc. Where as Ford level headed. I like the move as Ambrose is that teams best shot at chase next year
