Agree, has the makings of a GREAT race I think too Matt. With all the grid penalties and a little warmer weather today, that should help the Mercs and maybe hurt the Sauber/Williams chances a bit? And maybe mix things up in general.

I think anything is possible tonight. Could be lots of drivers struggling for grip late in the race. Looks to me like Mercs are struggling big, I cant see them having a good race.

Only chance of a safety car is if there is an accident. I'm laying off that prop but I think the value is in taking the better odds for it not to come out.

I took Lewis to be first out at +3300 early in week for some reason.

Think that will pay with a multi car incident like that? Dont usually bet it so not sure of rules

What an amazing start from maldonado.

I don't think I've seen that sort of start happen in F1, 6th place pulls out and around 2nd and 4th before they even react!

Payout is divided by how many other DNF's there was on lap 0. So if three DNF's, payout reduced by a third.

Looks like Alonso took a knock.

I thought the penalty was unusual too. It just seemed to be a strange time to start cracking down on bonehead moves with a race ban. The last race ban I can remember for a driver that did nothing except cause an accident is Eddie Irvine in 1994.

I also see Maldonado has also got a 'double' grid penalty for his jump start and first lap collision.
