I think they're overplaying the part about how guys who lead the most laps usually don't win

it happened that way in the past but I don't think that means that much for the future. You can win if you lead the most laps. You just need to get lucky, and that's always how it is.

I agree, because leading laps doesn't really contribute to winning of the race. you just try to be in a good position at the end so you can make something happen

I think it's silly that they're focusing on it so much here.

Due to the randomness of NASCAR, it's pretty obvious to say that in general leading the most laps won't win you the race, just like pole position won't win the race. You can lead as many laps as you want but if your car has trouble at the end or if Danica causes a wreck or if the cautions don't go your way you won't win. Obviously.

What I'm trying to say is that I don't see it as that much different at this track, where they need to keep repeating and talking about it.
