Chad Norris will be taking over for Osbourne for now.....he was in rousch's testing program, and also crew chief for T.Bayne in nationwide, and stenhouse Jr. in his limited CUP schedule

I don't think he was stepping down.

Edwards basically dumped him as crew chief and told him he could give an excuse if he wanted.

This is actually the second time Edwards fired him as crew chief. Back in 2006 he did the same thing.
