for nationwide race friday night i went ahead and bet stenhouse jr +550 to win the race, and will wait and play 1 more driver to win and 1 parlay as usual b4 the race

I was thinking Stenhouse too, but was hoping his odds would be much better with half a field of Cup drivers. :\

yeah just dont see any1 but hamlin and BK odds bring better no matter what happens....could get him in the 6-6.5 range if things work out in ur favor though....not a big risk waiting probably, i would guess it wont move much at all either way

kurt wont have the car cause kyles new s not in yet, kahne never has good odds, and dale jr. wont be very low either i dont think....ill probably take denny or bk with him just not sure which yet

Mike I like biffle and Gordon this week what do you think looking at the stats for the last 2 races at Texas you need to qualify in the top 10 to show

ouch, 5 Dimes fleeced me on the nationwide.

I bet field (they list 10) at 7/1, but now I see Bovada is offering field 10/1 (they list 11, same drivers plus Danica).

definatley do not need to qualify in top 10 here to win....hamlin won from 29th and 30th in both races on 2010, and that wasnt the only time thats happened here either

biffle has top 5s in 3 of last 4 races at texas here, but 0 wins.....i didnt like him at +1050 honestly...may take him later but saw 0 value on him early anyways...

Gordon has just been god AWFUL here, having only 1 top 20 in the last 4 races....no idea how his odds were 11-1ish either....should have been 15-1 at the best imo

i may take 1 or both, but just havent made any decisions besides the early wagers ive already made....wont say i wont bet them though, just have to see what happens with odds

no, danica means nothing to the bet.

I mean I'm being fleeced because 5D is offering 7/1 while Bovada (which typically has higher vig) is offering 10/1.

What we're learning this year is that 5 Dimes is really starting to rip people off with NASCAR lines.

I never would've made that bet had I realized what a terrible price it was.

i dont bet field on nationwide so im no expert on that to be honest...CUP odds at 5D just about no site better imo...they blow most away with WIN the race odds...but i dont use bovada so wouldnt know

my buddy uses justbet and BOL and they are 3 points off even the favorites, sometimes more...after he notices he left both books after race #2..lol

like any1 else in nationwide?

mike I just bet it because it seemed like good value. You get a lot of drivers with the field bet with only 10 or 11 listed

of course I could be wrong about nationwide and maybe only those 10 have a real chance.

no better reason than good value...i wasnt saying wasnt smart bet by any means Yis...has great value imo too....

i was saying i just bet 1-2 winners in nationwide so im not firmiliar with odds that usually posted for "field" bets in nationwide

Well well boys will be headed to the track tomorrow night for the Nationwide and Cup Q.
Weather is beautiful today, just hope it holds through the weekend. 40% chance for rain tomorrow and 30% on Saturday. Severe stuff should hold off until Sunday. But as we say in Texas, "if you don't like the weather, hang around 5 minutes, it's gonna change""

Anybody heard from CD ?????? SBR going to let him back on the board?????

Keep in mind, this has been a Cat in the Hat track since they opened the place.

Good Luck Boys will keep you updated on the weather, when I can.

Gordon, is scared of this place. Hardest hit he has ever had was here. Back 7-8 years ago. Dude was all wobble knees when got out of the car. I was there, with the roar of the field, you could still hear it when he popped the wall. Has won here, but not one of his favorite places.

Thanks Mike, yea DDT will be there. I have tix for Saturday too, may let the kids take them. I have never got to see this race on TV. Always been there. LOL.
I live only about 8 miles from the place and it's still an ass whipping with the traffic. Have thought several times about riding 4-wheeler over there and just stay in the ditch to and from.

1 of the tracks i want to come and watch a race and experience....probably #1 venue on my list now actually

maybe even race #2 this year

It is a great venue, biggest crowd every year for the Nationwide boys to play to, in the past 135-150 thousand. Cup will bring in close to 200-225 thousand. Kinda watered down now we have two races. Before we had two it was easy 250-260 thousand. Use to be 5-6 hours to get home after the race. Last fall it took me a couple hours just to get off the speedway property. Fall race brings in around 185 thousand. Lots of titties and drunks for sure. You can bring your own beer or buy it there, doesn't matter at all.

I will be there for qualifying only Friday night. I can't find anyone who will go to the race with me Sat night so I will be watching it from my couch. Which really sucks because I can literally see TMS from my backyard. Should be a great weekend though!!

went with my early bet and a midpack menard....played 1 longshot parlay as usual for nationwide

Stenhouse Jr.(+550) (early bet)
Menard (+800)

keslowski over hamlin(+130)
dillion over kahne (+120)
scott over danica (-120)

8 to 1 on parlay...

I'm laying off Nationwide race, havent had a chance to catch any practice sessions, etc.

Anyone watching Cup Qualy? That BK/McMurrary interview was a classic! I was never a big fan of BK, but he is actually a pretty funny guy.
