In case anyone is interested in the F1 this weekend, I've taken Kimi Raikonen +2800 to win, +2000 for pole and +1200 for fastest lap. Not certain he will do it but those odds are way too high imho. Renault-Lotus showed they have the speed and aero package to compete for pole last week in Melbourne and the Sepang track should suit the car much better.

After last weeks race mclaren are in a class of there own cant see past Lewis and jenson it was a toss up last weekend whoever got to the first corner won ( I backed the wrong one) Even after the safety car came out jenson pulled away again

Yeah agree McLaren are deserving favorites, and my pole bet is probably a bit optimistic, but they weren't clearly ahead on race pace and i wouldn't be surprised if this track, which does not favor outright top speed as much as Melbourne, brings them back to the field a little.

What's up with the red bulls and Ferrari they don't seem upto the pace I know it's early but signs are not good

Ferarri have definitely got an issue. Just cocked up the design I think. And they say they won't have the major update they need until Barcelona. They are bringing a new chassis for Massa this week. But I suspected they had him in some sort of test setup chassis last week the car looked so different to Alonso, so this could just be a new test piece.

Red Bull are plenty fast I think. Don't believe the hype. They have always been down on top speed, but were down about 8kph in Melbourne and I bet they will address that somewhat before this race. Vettel didn't have a perfect quali lap and Webber didn't have KERS working for it, so the large gap in quali is deceptive too.

All that said, McLaren should win everything really. As none of them can do much between Melbourne and here and they clearly have the best sorted cart so far.

No surprises really. Like you said earlier, Kyle was crazy fast last year and he's my fave going in. Followed by JJ, Smoke, Bowyer, and Harvick. If playing futures, jumping on Clint has lots of value. I'd hold off on the others. I had Kyle at +1100 last year after he qualified 8th and practiced well on Saturday.

Btw, really impressed how Bowyer is hanging around late in races; always been MWR's weak spot. Have to think he will win one this year.

harvick was 28th and jimmy 20th off truck last years 1st practice and won the race and runner up finishes

Raikkonen is changing a gearbox and will take a 5 place grid penalty after qualifying. Hope no one tailed that +2800 win bet too heavy :\

On the bright side, going for pole will be even more important now, and he is looking great for the fast lap based on race simulation laps in P2.
