As Mike's thread seems to be the main one we have been using for chatter, thought I would throw a generic one up so people can post there own bets as they go along, like we did last year.



I'll start us off.

Backed Newman +2200 for .5 unit.. will put another .5 to 1.5u on him if he practices well.

Historically Ambrose's 2nd best oval, and with his form over Daytona weeks I'm excited for his prospects again this week.

And Fading anything Penske again this week.

Took an early head 2 head parlay as I suspect fave prices here will all get worse (just .25 of a unit to pay 1.5us)

But I seriously don't get it. In 2010 he was listed for the win in openers maybe 2/3rds of races. Then last year he moves to a better team and I think was left out of the early markets all but maybe 5 races.

I know last year wasn't as good as hoped, but he still finished 19th, and still doesn't get included in the 20 odd they start with this year!

Sportsbook is the only place I have funds that list him early. And it's usually around 100/1, but I'm either going to run out of money there before he wins, or won't get paid if he does probably. So it doesn't really count.
