when i say "cover" that just means if that driver wins the money i win would basically only "cover" all my wagers and not bring any prophit, or none to speak of anyways...just little security....i bet so much each race i like a few drivers to if they win covers all my wagers on prophit drivers...it has paid off several times last few years...when u bet as much as i do on these races, i like to have 2-4 "covering" drivers...

just depends on the odds how many i take, just like odds depend on how may "prophit" guys i select each week

so lets say keslowsi or kyle would have won this race...then basically i would have got all my money back i bet on the race

if i was just betting a few 100 each week i wouldnt bother with a "cover" wager

i mean im not sure really what advice to give...i dont bet the same amount on each driver or race...all depends on the odds and mt analysis of each driver/track...

Why can't you post what you bet on each driver once the race starts?

Because Mike is living in a fantasy world, he knows a lot about NASCAR but does not understand squat about the math involved in gambling.

He does not understand that there is no way that 10-12 drivers can all have value in a market where the house has the odds juiced up to a 30% over round.

He does not understand that no system or way of structuring your bets can change a -EV wager to a +EV wager.

He bets 10 drivers per race which are all negatively correlated because only one driver can win, so when he bets a driver at +1200 he is really getting +300.

Mikes strategy of picking 10 drivers per race is great for giving you a great shot of picking a winner every week but there is absolutely no way that anyone could be profitable doing this, it is the same thing as betting heavy chalk you will win most weeks but when that bad run comes you will get buried.
