also wont be making any knee-jerk dercisions on early wagers this week...going to take a day or 2 to think about how i want to approach my early picks, if i make any at all...probably should pull back on the wagers this week, but no way in hell weith only 2 races left...im laying as much lumber as i always do, but will try and be smart being the changes that have been made and nobody knows what will happen once the cars hit the track...even after the sessions, its going to be totally different when the race starts with 43 cars on the track, so the sessions may not even help this week as much as they usual do in the roster calculations...going to be an interesting wekk for sure

Think I will leave all betting until race morning too.

Nationwide race will probably be most important thing to watch for capping Sunday.

yeah i agree nationwide will be somewhat important, but still wont give me the information i usually like to have but we will take what we can get....

i wont be sure if ill pull ther trigger on someone early or not, but im going to be extra cautious

LOL...very seriously doubt u will get that wish...nothing to fear just being smart as possible

odds will be same ol' same ol' top 4 im sure....between 6-7 to 1, and there absoulutly 0 value in that....but i wont decide anything that i will wager til tomorrow at the earliest

im just sad the year is coming to an end soon

....it's been even better than i was hoping for this year

the only 2 practices will be 1:30 and 5:30 on friday, then qualifying on 1:30 saturday afternoon for Cup

**also on a down note, there is 20%-40% chance of showers on fri, sat, and sun. as of now, but weather changes daily

still looking over the early odds...definatley nothing of great value in the favorites...the longer odds may be worth something, but odds wont move much at all b4 the sessions so im in no hurry to bet yet

Whether it means anything or not is debatable, but Kurt Busch has a good result and quali record here. But still, he'd probably be higher than +2200 if there was a clear favorite.

i agree but getting kurt busch ay any track at +2200 is always worth a shot, i couldnt knock that early pick at all...just as good as of a longshot there probably is actually

and i agree opti, im not sure how much earlier tests mean much of anything here with nobosy else even on the track the majority of the time each were running....i mean its something, but not much IMO...they were just testing track, tires, groove, ect...lap times, avgs, ect. werent the main point...heard a great interview on sirrus radio of smoke talking about the test, where he said the same thing

Talk me out of automatically fading Smoke please? Maybe I just haven't got my head around him suddenly going nowhere to this competitive yet, but I don't want to back him again this week.

i cant..lol...hell hes been amazing, even winning at tracks he has never won at before..ive never seen a driver and car just flip a switch and be flat out amazing as soon as the chase started before...ill make my decisions tomorrow on who or if im wagering on anybody early...

still havent decided anything for early wagers, but harvick and jimmy have the best value IMO...if theres any value at all early this week...nothing spectacular thats for sure ..stewart at +675 is just knee-jerk over capped...casnt deny i havent ever seen momentum like he has though

the only book i ever use is 5d and never really saw the point in depositing in another book when 5D has more options than anybody else to be honest with you...

Just throw 200 in a book that does book to book transfers with 5D. Roll over once then transfer out. Easy peasy.

ill be deciding in the morning what early wagers i will take...harvick and jimmy would be the only front runners i would put anything on early....i would also leave some wiggle room to have them as just a cover if need be after the sessions are over...may take a long shot too but theres just no value in many drivers on the top of the list with the new situation here

im just ready to get some damn information to feed my need for some statistics on the new track...testing doesnt mean much to me, but at least we will have some good information after the only 2 sessions tomorrow..still even that wont mean alot once the race starts but its better than nothing...im wondering if i should just throw my old phoenix notebook ive built up over the years in the garbage...not sure its going to be helpful ever again
