The Greek has Stewart tb Earnhardt Jr @ 1.69
With Stewart always being in the top in the Duels, and Earnhardt starting all the way from the back, could this be value?

It's definitely not "value" at that -145 price in a risky NASCAR race. But I agree Smoke is highly likely to win that matchup. (as I am sure every other punter is thinking too)

I thought maybe Smoke would have more like a 65-70% chance of winning this match-up, more than the 58-60% that the -140 line indicates, especially cause I can't imagine Jr to risk wrecking his back-up car

I'm tossing up the same bet, and maybe definitely not value was too strong a word. I think you're right that he probably does have better than 60% chance of winning it, taking into consideration Junior's motivation to keep out of trouble.

Anyone got an idea about Bayne tb Waltrip @ 2.25 (+125)?
I know the experience is with Waltrip, but Bayne seemed impressive during qualification, while Waltrip wasn't doing anything special. I read someone here telling that Bayne could be the youngster to look for this year...
Starting from 2nd in Duel 2 (if I understand the rules right), he will be motivated to keep the big guns behind him.
This match-up sounds more like 50-50 to me

Mikey said that Reutimann and Truex will be working to help ensure he gets in. But he will only need to ensure that he finishes and beats enough non-top35 cars.

I can see Bayne being more interested in a top 5 finish than Waltrip. Which also makes him more likely to wreck though.

Dew22 just above you is on Bayne too I believe.

Ah, I didn't quite get the rules about when a drives gets qualified for the race I guess

I'll wait and see if some more books will put up match-ups for tonight, and else I think I'm gonna go for Bayne

On a serious note, I think young Trevor did a good job, I am curious to see what he will do in the big race sunday. And I think that starting positions don't mean a thing, as the race is so long, and the positions change so fast...
Saw Earnhardt at 20, then suddenly at 5, and 3 laps later he was back in last place

I'm still looking forward to a nice match-up with Bayne in it, maybe the crash was good to keep the odds high!
