Segment 1 of the competition runs for the first 11 races, Daytona to Dover on May 15th.

Post up 100 points here before the Daytona 500.

75% of pool goes to the leader after segment 1. (as determined by the ESPN site rankings)
25% of pool for second place.

Im in, this is the first Fantasy Nascar contest ive ever played in. 2 questions? 1. Under Leaderboard, what is the Urber leaderboard?( Our group standing i'm guessing) 2. Under My Entry, what is the numbers (%own) Ownership mean? GL everyone this is gonna be fun.

Thats cool, i dont think it matters right now anyway. Ive got Jimmie and Kyle also, im debating maybe dropping Jimmie to upgrade one of my other 3 picks, not sure yet tho.

I've never played any sort of fantasy league before either. So not really sure on the best strategy.

I assume they revalue everyone after each race and you gain credit for those that rise. So maybe trying to take undervalued drivers is the way to go for the first race?

Yeah i read they score them by the points they earn each weekend. And like you said, their value also goes up and down depending on there performance. As long as they r still on our roster, we get them at the same price each week. But keep them to long and they blow a engine 3 weeks in a row and their value will go way down when we sell them. Gonna be fun.

I don't have the "drive" to read all the rules but it sounds like the Uber leaderboard is for those who accrue points in all the different fantasy sports contests to try earn bonus points. I barely have time for Nascar, can't imagine doing all the other sports too! The Ownership % is how many players in the whole ESPN contest have that driver on their team. The cost column shows what salary you have the driver locked in at, and what the current salary would be if you dropped and re-signed the driver to your team.

It's too late for new people to join the points pool. But feel free to join the game and play against us for glory. After the 11th race prizes are awarded and we open the pool again.

No wonder Onlooker wants to know the situation, his Kurt/McMurray/Martin/Montoya/Logano roster kicked our butts, and puts him in the top 1500 out of 120,000 ESPN players as well.

Luck. Luck. Luck. I think my drivers missed every spin, crash, smoke, grass, debris, engine fail and miscues that were happening in front, behind and beside them. Crazy race to survive in.

Was going to try and fit Edwards in, but who do i lose?

RPM cars look a little disappointing so far, but not sure I like anyone else at the price. And Ambose, Dinger and Montoya all have good records at Phoenix.
