    Man has NASCAR gone downhill...
NASCAR used to be decent sport 5+ years ago..But now its a joke..

Attendence at events is rapidly decreasing and the product is very predictable thesedays (there hardly ever is any longshots that win these days compared to early 2000's)..

Another thing i think that stinks about the product is that sprint cup drivers that are legitimately good, race in the nationwide series..makes no sense to me..Ex: kyle busch won last weeks nationwide race..why is he is even racing in it? for money, when in fact the people who need to hone their skills should be racing in it..he is taking money from someone who needs the money more..

Will NASCAR ever rebound back..I dont think so...

Cars going around in circles has always been boring.

Ever notice that they only show the crashes on ESPN?

Fan-ship is definitely declining. That cannot be argued. The economy doesn't help any. I'd guess if the economy was booming, we'd see a lot more people in the stands because it is a fun thing to hang out at the track for a couple days or just race day. The chase format and spec cars haven't helped, IMO.

Jimmie Johnson and his boring ass personality are to blame. Put JR as 4 time champ, attendance would be fine. Might not ever be as popular as it once was but it ain't going away.
