I don't remember exactly what it was, but during one of the practices last week Darrel Waltrip said that drivers whose wives had just had a baby had a knack for winning the following race. He said "Well, I think I probably should have had a few more kids"

Regardless, I don't think any amount of children is putting Sadler in victory lane again.

Picked up Kyle at +850. Like it.

Kenseth has also had success there and has some value at 20-1. Kyle is definitely a solid pick though.

I don't know if there's enough value for me to take him, but Martin has a good shot at winning this race.

He won the inaugural event, but has not since. However, he has finished in the top 10 every time he has not had a crash/mechanical issue like last year when he had his second motor let go in 2 weeks.

So, assuming we can forget about last year's debacle, we have not seen Martin at this track in Hendrick equipment. It may be something to consider.

I think that this race may be fairly predictable. That is, Hendrick or Busch brothers will probably take this race.

The difficult part of this race to gauge is how RCR is going to perform on Sunday. They've been fast at the two previous tracks as soon as they unloaded from the truck. They have not looked great in practice and did not qualify well. Will RCR race well?

RCR looked terrible in practice, I couldn't even put them in my top 5. I don't see how they can compete with what they had the last few days. But hey, things change big time during the race, so who knows. But going off what I do, I can't put them in any of my bets.

Johnson pisses a lot of people off. It seems like choosing this guy at +300 or w/e offers no value at all---especially in a league where we had so many different winners last year.

Then, boom. He clicks off 2 consecutive wins. He also snags a Duel with no tires.

Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way. Maybe I need to simply pick Johnson every race. There's no fun in that though.

There's also no fun in losing if you pick a shady driver. Tony Stewart has the best of both worlds, he's not at the very top, yet he is still pretty much at the top.
