That race was a joke. The track kept falling apart? Give me a break. If NASCAR would get off it's dead tail and spend some money to repave these tracks we would not have to sit through jokes like that again. It should not take over 6 hours to run a race.

A lot of people think Nascar is borring.. When the most hyped race of the year takes that long to finish with no weather delays, it isn't going to help change their minds.. Thumbs down to the guys in charge of Daytona.. They should have been better prepared..

But big props to Jr.. He fought hard at the end, but came up just short.. Maybe this will be a sign his team has turned things around..

I believe it's scheduled to be repaved in 2012. It would really blow if it killed the racing there.

Drivers don't want the track repaved. Don't quite know why not.

It takes a track a while to get broken in. I remember the first few years we had tickets to the Chicago race and the racing was just horrible. Only one lane could move, and there was barely any passing. Now, the surface is starting to come around and the racing has gotten progressively better.

Yes, I get the grip thing ,but they can't have 4 hr delays every year in there superbowl. It needs repaved and live with it.
