NASCAR is extending its overtime period, and will now make up to three attempts at a green-white-checkered finish.

The move was announced to competitors in the driver's meeting preceding Thursday's twin 150-mile qualifying races at Daytona International Speedway. The change will affect all three national series, and follows a Budweiser Shootout last weekend that went to the green-white-checkered finish, but ended under caution nonetheless.

I like some of the new rule changes for better competition like the bump drafting.......Also like the spoiler replacing the wing later in the season on the COT hopefully will make for better wagering on the races.....I plan to have a better season than last year.

Vickers is a good SS talent, but seemingly gets 'not so much help' when needed a lot in recent past when he is running strong..

For any newcomers to NASCAR betting, on these Super Speedways, a driver needs help aka a good drafting push in most all cases to have a shot on that last lap.

Won my small play of Logano over Brad K. It was hard not to cheer for Brad in that race though---he was as exciting as anybody out there. I didn't like him much at first, but I'm starting to admire his style.
