no, I seriously don't know what's the issue with Indycar specifically, but the authorities came up with a list of allowed betting types and events at the beginning of the year, and from Indycar only the championship & Indy 500 was on there. I guess they regard everything else as "too amateurish", as only pro sports is allowed in general.

Nascar for example, all races are allowed (Cup Series - Xfinity not at all), but only outright bets on the winner. Formula 1 has almost no limitations (apart from practice).

yeah, they may adjust their markets a bit based on local interest, but over here, it's really because of the regulations. Books licensed in Germany are only allowed to offer certain type of events, and in regards to Indycar, that list only includes the Indy 500.

Those dumbheads really came up with an endless list. 2nd league ice hockey Sweden, yes, 2nd league ice hockey Germany not, heavyweight boxing yes, lightweight boxing not, etc, etc

I think larson is starting too far back at dover to be the favorite, and I believe the "will chase elliot win"story line will continue to watkins Glen or Chicago.
