CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS (All 3 series)---

Alright fellas we are going back road course racing this weekend for the 1st ever NASCAR event at Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.. This should be a really fun racetrack and something totally different than we are use to seeing. They are using the 3.41 mile "long" course" for all 3 series. We will also have a unique schedule for this weekend because we will be having some practice sessions and regular old school qualifying since the drivers have never races here before. All the races and practices will be televised on FS1 this weekend. On Friday, we will have Xfinity and Truck series practice televised at 3 and 4pm. On Saturday we will have Cup series practice in the morning, followed by a lower series DOUBLE HEADER of races! The Truck race will be at 1pm followed up by the Xfinity series race at 4pm. On Sunday the Cup drivers will Qualify at 11am followed up by the Cup race at 2:30pm.


Besides the usual Cup guys that are really strong on all the road courses it is really hard to tell what to expect heading into a new racetrack...The Win the race market posted this morning and looks about what I expected on most just have to see how it moves before the weekend gets here...Probably gonna focus on the finishing position and props early. Been on a long winning streak now so hopefully we can pull another one out of the hat this weekend to keep it going ...Everybody's picks and opinions welcomed! Lets get it!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Will probably parlay Cindric and Chase this weekend. I guess the guy driving the #51 in trucks ran the Daytona 24 hour race with Kyle Busch so he might be worth a flier. I’ll join the F1 guys and bet Bottas fastest in the first practice.

Kyle, Harvick, Reddick, A Dillon and Custer are on the XF entry list although Kyle the only one in top equipment.

FP1 in Monaco is usually way more contested than elsewhere, not sure the "Bottas always takes it" pattern is enough to find some value here. Good luck, though, nonetheless there's still a decent chance of course

But he has been so good on green circuits last year and again this year, I think we have to keep taking the +350 every race whilst the books keep offering it.

Who are the 3½ drivers likely to beat him even if all things are equal? Lewis, Max... maybe Perez only makes 2½


That said I have split my P1 bet this week Bottas +350, Ricciardo +4000 and Top 3 +500

Also Dan +12500 for pole and +4100 for Front Row start.


Monaco often has a unexpected fastest lap winner as well. McLaren +2500 and Alpha Tauri +4000 both seem great +EV odds to me. I'll also be taking a few larger longshots like Kimi, Vettel, Russell, Alonso, Ocon and maybe Stroll once I see their grid positions and how they practice.

yeah, for sure, I just don't really expect the usual FP1 advantage Mercedes has (otherwise mainly due to approaching the practice sessions differently), and added with a somewhat subpar car/driver for this track, I struggle to see him really taking it today.
Personally I see Ferrari in the mix all weekend, btw, but odds on Leclerc for FP1 aren't really great either

Looks like Bovada is waiting till the end of the week to post nascar odds. I’ve only checked about 100 times in the last 4 days.

Do you guys think Ferrari will have enough speed in the race to contend for the win? I’m sure their odds won’t be as good after practice 2.

I'd be checking constantly also. Lol. Strange how they always change when they post and what they offer.

Looked over the Group market for Cup last night. Liked a couple but think my fav is Suarez (+300) > Buescher, Marty D, and Briscoe. Top 5 he's obv long shot also @1200 maybe also a dart for me

Also think I'm grabbing Kyle B. at +1400 For Cup. He really has knack for running great and winning at new racetracks. Already won at Daytona RC earlier this year also. 4 time road winner. Plus read he's turned laps here already in other style cars. Plus he's racing Xfinity. Anyways I like the value so leaning taking him pre race.

It seems like they do this with INDYCAR. I never see odds until after they qualify. I think it’s ridiculous. They post F1 odds at least 1 week in advance. Then they pull the odds during every practice and repost right after it’s done. They should do the same with Nascar.

I know he’s driving for McLeod I just expect Stewart Haas to provide/help with the car. The sponsor Rush is one that used to sponsor Bowyer in Cup and the car is a Ford and from checking McLeod’s Twitter usually the 5 is a Chevy.
