THE SOUTHERN 500 @ Darlington (All 3 series)--

Alright guys were are headed to 1 of NASCAR's crown Jewel events this weekend with the Southern 500 from Darlington International Speedway. Always one of the best weekends of the racing year, and this year we have a Sunday double header with the Trucks racing for the 1st time ever at the Lady In Black, which should be very interesting. The Xfinity race will be Saturday afternoon on NBC main channel at 12:30pm. Sunday kicks off with the truck series race at 1:30pm on FS1 followed by the Southern 500 at 530pm on NBCS.

When racing returned in May Hamlin and Harvick dominated and both won a race that week from the double header. Not sure I expect anything else to happen again at this point but we shall see. Odds already posted last night just waiting on Lower series to post now.


**This is also the 1st round of the playoffs for the Cup series

Took a chance on the Hendrick guys for this race. They were fast the first weekend in Darlington when NASCAR restarted but that speed faded some down the stretch. Hopefully they’ll be able to find it again. I’m rooting for Jimmie to get a win on his farewell tour.

Probably just throwing money away but can’t back Hamlin and Harvick at +270. I was looking at Kyle at +1100 as well. He was running well in the first or second Darlington race because I remember him turning Chase when both were in the top 5.
