MARTINSVILLE (Trucks/Cup)---

Alright we are off the west coast swing and headed to the Paperclip @ Martinsville this weekend...The trucks will be at 2PM Saturday on FOX and the Cup race will be Sunday on FS1 at 2PM...The Xfinity series has its first off weekend of the year this week...This will be out first real short track race of the season and this track ALWAYS delivers in every series...

The Paperclip is a 0.526 mile short track with just 12 degrees of banking in all 4 turns and 0 down the straights...The new packages shouldn't make much of a difference this weekend and will be back to running the 750HP engine as well..Braking and keeping those brakes all race is key....But mostly same cast of top characters been great here too lately as u can see by the odds...Bowyer won the spring race last year and Logano booted truex late to win the fall race...Wont have to worry about a boring or caution free race this weekend...

Thinking Moffitt was the steal of openers at 1150 after practice yesterday for the Truck race today. But there was no way to watch or stream either of them so tough to say if teams were on diff agendas or not.
