It’s good to have some fellow Bill Elliott fans on here. My uncle owned a garage/gas station and I’d go spend a week with him during summers as a teen back in the 80s. He was a huge Bill Elliott and Ford fan. Had his stuff up all over the shop. He was the reason I started following NASCAR.

One of the smartest guys I’ve ever met. He worked on the development U-2 and other US spy planes in the 50s and early 60s. Guy had some great stories. Passed away at 87 two years ago.
