MARTINSVILLE (playoffs)---

Alright fellas nascar is heading back to MARTINSVILLE speedway this weekend for the opening round of 8 in the playoffs...A win this week by any of them punches their ticket to the championship race at Homestead next month...The truck series will be racing this weekend on Saturday afternoon at 1PM on FS1...The Cup race will be the usual Sunday afternoon at 2:30PM on NBCS...The Xfinity series is off this weekend but will return next weekend at Texas...


MARTINSVILLE speedway is a 0.526 mile "paperclip" shaped oval that is just 12 degrees of banking in all 4 turns and 0 degrees on both straights, so its just about flat as it gets..This is the def of bumper to bumper racing all day long and is the last short track race of this season so should be exciting...

We hit Bowyer here in the spring race at a very nice +1750, but looks like hes opening at about 1/3 of that number this time

Great odds on Max opti. I got pole +125 for Max and also race win +150. Red Bull certainly the class of the field on the down force tracks. I went pretty big on the pole bet so hopefully that comes through and I'm freerolling the win bet

He's probably still decent value at +150. I predicted -150 after friday practices.

The engine expiry might have scared some people but team dais it was only a practice day installation.

Max had pole til Dan beat him at the very end of qualifying. Had a large chunk on Max to win the pole and the race so that stung. Still like him to win the race though but I never saw Dan as a threat to the pole
