Alright guys were are headed back to Michigan for the 2nd time in just a couple months this weekend..Saturday is another double-header with the Xfinity series road course racing again from Mid-Ohio at 3PM on NBCS and the Truck series will also be at Michigan at 1PM on FS1...The cup series is on NBCS on Sunday at 2:30PM...

MICHIGAN is a 2 mile long D-shaped asphalt oval...The banking in all 4 turns is 18 degrees, 12 degrees at the start finish line, and just 5 degrees on the backstretch..This track has grooves from top to bottom so passing will not be an issue this week!

I seriously doubt Elliott after a win last week, goes back to back, but this is by FAR is best racetrack (as well as Larson's) so thght the odds were ok and worth a stab..plus ive bet him all 3-4 times last few yrs he has been runner-up here....Also will prob look at Harvick as well..just now looking at h2hs

Penske interests me.... I might have to wait until I see some practice to see if they brought any speed with them.

Nothog early jumps out at me... could see Brad's price going down, maybe Larsons too if he qualifies well.

best driver here by far is Larson though, hes just driving a Chevy the problem there...Same with Elliott

yeah like Almirola and him bout same i guess...Ford power though tips it to #10 i guess.., but neither guy has even scored a top 10 here in Cup, suarez only raced in june though of course...almirola 0 for 12 in career on top 10s with a best finish of 11th once...though suarez without looking, think he won Xfinity race here last year..but like the odds on both as longshots i guess since both are in good form now

22 seems like a lifetime ago. I remember getting hammered four or five times a week, sleeping for about 3-4 hours, and then going to class with very little after affects. Ah, to be young again

Now I have to plan so carefully for the 2-day hangover. Almost not worth it anymore... only on very special occasions but I digress.

Mike warned me the other day that Logano said the team is more concerned with testing setups for the chase than winning more reg season races.

Been seeing Larson been asked about NASCARs OSS scanning machine that they use for inspections. Teams were allowed to buy their own for in house for this season. But for some reason only SHR, JGR, and FRR had one to prepare for the start?!

Hard to believe but HMS just got their in house machine in MAY. Unreal. No idea why makes no sense. But u can see the diff right? Already they are improving a lot.

What a huge advantage to have this in house while building the cars from the ground up. Instead of having to use nascars machine u have to go to Concord, nc to use and share.

Here is the real kicker, Larson's team STILL doesnt have one. Thats incredible considering how fast hes been working with much much less.

Anyways though that was interesting and explains a whole lot. This was talked about recently, just hadnt mentioned it here
